Member’s 2010 Camaro obliterated by tree, lives to share story and photos.

Posted by: admin In: Main ()

Camaro5 member chapmadl is lucky to be alive and well enough to share these stunning PHOTOS with us. At the end of June, just one day after taking delivery of his black Camaro 2SS/RS, chapmadl’s car was destroyed after a mysterious crash into a tree. He suffered a broken back, two broken wrists, a broken ankle, as well as a concussion. After two weeks in the hospital, he was released. Unfortunately, because of the concussion he suffered, he has no memory of how the accident occurred and there were no witnesses to the freak event. If not for all Camaro’s safety features and the multitude of airbags the car was equipped with, the injuries would likely have been more severe, if not fatal.

Chapmadl’s Camaro is obviously totaled and he’s currently resting at home in a rented hospital bed. At least he didn’t lose his sense of humor in the crash, because as he describes his current state with two broken wrists, he’s “pecking at the keys on [his] laptop like an 85 year old man that has been introduced to a computer for the first time.”

To chapmadl — we’re glad you’re back with us now and we wish you a speedy recovery… as well as another Camaro in your near future!! Full set of photos HERE.
