My little project, painting and customizing my engine cover.

Different angle

The final result. Paint-5$ Tape-3$ Bolts&Washers-7$ Overlays-20$ = 35$ Project! Sure beats GMs 300$ just for the painted cover!

Now just waiting on overlays to get here

Decided to paint the washers black, Made these screws look SO much better!

Screwed in #8 screws, on top of #10 washers to see how I liked the look.

Krylon, sunset red. A pretty good match to Victory Red

All taped off, ready for paint.

Result after sanding both sides

Used some fine grit sandpaper, molded around a rectangular object and took the finish off the "Chevrolet"
