I heard Chevy was taking down some of these post, some kind of copyright issue, we will see how long mine lasts. Also I'm working on a brighter kit, you might be interested... I'll let you know when I finish and see what you think

Oh one other question, do you know a way I can get the light to slowly come on like the dome light does?

Also do you have any pics of how and where you cut the door panel and how you attached the box to it?

    thanks

Ok well I ordered some stickers online and I got them made smaller and I'm gonna try putting the letters closer together so maybe it wont turn out fuzzy even though I have the LEDs close.

I also bought a wide angle LED so I may try that too. When I tested it with the shorter bolts close up, the wide angle LED reached the edges of the clear case piece so once I get the stickers in maybe it will work out.

I'll let you know when i finish and see what you think.

    thanks for your help

hmm, i would try another store or ask an associate if they are just out of stock or something.

a smaller sticker *might* work, but the problem i was having with the LED too close to the stencil was that the projection was coming out too fuzzy.

i'd give u the link straight to the stickers' page but his whole site is flash...www.thecamarodecalstore.com > camaro accents > shop here.

and yes i had to apply the 'Camaro' and 'SS' parts seperately so i cud get it below

i went by home depot first but the smallest size they had was 1/4" but i found some 2" 6-32 bolts but i'm worried that wont be far enough away from the LED to project the design, so I figured if maybe I got the stickers a little smaller maybe that would compensate for the distance problem.

How much did those stickers cost?
Were they the ones designed to go on the wheels? and you just put the SS part under camaro.

    thanks

Hey, I got the rod at home depot. Any hardware store should have it around their hardware section (nuts n bolts)

I'm not sure the exact size of the stickers. Orangegrinder @ camaro decal store only had one size for his 'wheel decals'. I'll measure when I get a chance

saw your post about the DIY lights on the door. Where did you get the 6-32 threaded rod? i cant find it anywhere. Also what size stickers did you use? did you have to order them like extra small to fit on the cutout? i saw they usually come like 8" but dont they need to be like 3". thanks
