Hi! Sorry I didn't see your message yesterday - congratulations!! The only car my husband and I that cost more than my 'Maro is our '98 Astro Van which is still going strong. However, Merlin is the very first car I've ever purchased with my own money, and I've gone back to work part time in order to not have the new car affect the family budget. Guess that makes Merlin the car I never had in high school or college so he's extra-special to me :-)

Your wife isn't going to believe your surprise for her! Make sure you take lots of pictures because you're going to want to remember the moment forever. Plus when you don't give her a birthday present for the next 87 birthdays and she calls you on it, you can whip out a photo and remind her of your wonderful gift to her in 2009... :-)

Just returned from dealer...Its there! with 26 days to spare...Til b-day. They need to do the stripe (hockey) and the paperwork at 10 AM 27 Aug. Then hide it on base.
