Hello. I just stumbled upon one of your entries.
My CAMARO is a 2SS, LS3 engine. I accepted delivery on Nov. 2nd 2010.
It was the first one in my neck of the woods, a special order placed w my country sole authorized dealer.
To make a really long story very short, I got the CANADIAN specs package as it was the only way I could get certain trim/specs with my car.
To my knowledge my it is the only one like that here. In very many ways it is a unique steer in this ranch.
So far I have had no issues with buying spares or getting parts which may require to distinguish the US spec vehicle from the Canadian one, so I simply placed orders and bought parts from US based retailers without giving it second thought.
Now I realize I will be best advised to find a Canadian based GM parts supplier!!
I really appreciate you brought this very relevant yet otherwise overlooked issue into light.
