I used the windshield suction cups that came with the radar detector...so far I'm happy with it. I am keeping my eye on the bracket that another user is fabricating that connects to the visor clip bracket. http://camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35088

I liked the install of the radar... I was goning to install mine on the left side though.. what kind of bracket did you use to hold the unit up on the windshield or did the mount it the headkiner ? thanks
