I thought it was Darin, I was watching his build progress on the forums

He was the guy I was leaning to talk to from the start. Thanks for the heads up, I will be calling him in the next couple of weeks.

Here's his website. www.darinmorgan.com and here's Profiler's: http://www.profilerperformance.com/. Check him out. You can email him with any questions about heads. He's one of the few head porters who answers questions and actually tries to help people. He also teaches an induction system class a couple times year. Good luck on your build.

No, we aren't active in drag racing (as of now). We don't even watch it or NASCAR when it's on t.v. However, Darin did take our car to the drag strip last fall and made a few runs at the test and tune and had a blast. Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=gCHFMmSlmzI It was the first time he has EVER taken a car down the track (even though he grew up at the drag strip and both his father and step-father were drag racers.) Please excuse my big mouth in the video. Now he's putting a cam and ported heads/mainfold in our car, among other things. He's really wanting to build a 440 for it so it has more cubic inches (a bigger crank). That way it'll make more power without having to wind it up. I told him whatever he wants to do as long as he understands that if our car becomes undriveable for me, he has to buy me another one! lol.

well thats just too cool.. I might need to talk to him then. I have a 67 full tube frame that I am building now. I plan on starting the motor late summer and will need some good heads.
You all still active in drag racing?

Hello! thanks for the question about my user name. My husband used to work for NHRA Prostock teams as a head porter. He worked for Bob Glidden, Larry Morgan and some others I can't remember before moving us to Texas to work at Reher-Morrison (Bruce Allen) for 10 years. Now he works for Profiler-Performance Parts mainly designing aftermarket cylinder heads and intake manifolds but he still does port and design work for racers too. So I got "prostock" from him. 1969 is my birth year.
