It is an EVAC sensor that does it automatically a few minutes after being started....it is a strange tapping noise from the rear...nothing to be alarmed about. Weird that the engineers can't make it silent though.

What answer did you find for the tapping in the rear. Mine does that after i start it up in the morning followed by a sound like leather being slowly stretched. It all sounds like It's coming from the trunk.
