ya there is that small tube.. but is it really supposed to be whistling that much? like when im pushing the pedal it starts whistling until i take it off and press it again

The whistling is normal... Did you ever look inside the Injen tube? There is a small tube inside which I'm thinking is perhaps the cause:

hey scrming, ive got the injen intake for a while now i think i was the first haha.. lately theres been some whistling going on when i push the gas, so last night i took everything apart and put it back together and made sure everything was tight. and still whistled. so then i went and bought a normal filter from pepboys and tried it on, and still whistles. any ideas to what it may be? i checked the PCV connecter where u epoxied but that thing is on pretty tight and the whislting sound is coming from down in the filter area.
