The basic or standard audio system does not have an amp. So you will basically have to tap into the speaker wires of your rear 6x9s. Our harness will only work on the Boston Acoustic system.

i got a question for you. My camaro came with the basic stereo system. Will your harness power a sobwoofer box or say a basetube without adding an additional amp? if it does i assume it taps some power from the stock amp?
