    Hey firengnred,

No lifting, no problems/issues. Tons of jealous/amazed looks though. I love my hood and am very pleased with it.

Hey Mindz... How's your hood holding up? Just curious because it was mentioned to me that it is best to "Season" a composite hood by exposing it to heat from the sun and engine for a week before painting so you can make any adjustments. I don't recall that you did this and was wondering since your hoods been on a while if you've noticed any issues? I'm getting a hood installed next week.

They picked up the car on Friday, and were done with hood, trunk, projectors and paint by thursday. Great people!

Found it. LTL did all the work? How long did it take?

It's a fiberglass hood, with a carbon fiber "blister" they call it. The hood scoop is carbon fiber, but the rest of the hood is fiberglass.

Skim through this thread and you'll see pictures.

RKsport hood (prototype for their new ram air hood).
Seibon ST style carbon fiber trunk lid.
