Jessica, My 2011 Camaro Convertible has the early Tonneau cover with the clips that can and has blown off. I understand that the 2012 upgrade has cords to hold it on. Will my dealer warranty and replace mine with the upgraded cover? I understand that the early one with clips can be a hazzard to following vehicles.
Hello! Thank you for your patience while I did some research on your question. A Component Coverage Letter is only applied to a vehicle if there has been a repeated failure on particular components of the vehicle. Looking at your bumper to bumper warranty, I see that you may be eligible for a GMPP as you had mentioned earlier. GMPPs are available for purchase if the vehicle is still within the parameters of the bumper to bumper warranty which will expire in March of this year, or 36,000 miles. Please let me know if you have further questions!
