The key is to press the emblem down on the 3M tape really well so it makes an impression in the tape pull the emblem off so you can see the impression and just trim along the impression lines using an X-ACTO knife I use the 3M double sided trim tape from the auto parts stores

Sounds tedious. Was it difficult to trim around such small letters? What type of 3M two sided tape did you use? I put 327 emblems on my truck using 3M tape and it was not that bad with the numbers but those small letters look difficult. Please tell me your secret (Technique). Thanks I cut the 2 posted off placed the emblem on 3M double sided tape and trimmed around the emblem
