I'm monitoring the Corvette Forum, to see if any of them are going to do the weekly Saturday morning GTG @ Chapters on the Queensway (across from Sherway Gardens Mall). They're GTG's have dwindled too, as people begin to store their cars.

If you want to do an all-in-one maybe we can work it in for Saturday. Post alternate suggestions, in the meantime, and I'll post on the Corvette Forum.

I have seen just about every single video on the Camaro and regardless if the car has Pedders, springs, Pfadt, KW everytime the car is hammered the back end squats so much and on the tarmac it tends to bounce in the rear.

Even through an autocross I see the car bouncing yet the front is flat and stable with no roll. Its an up and down bounce.

Look on Hennessey website of the Yellow video launching how the car is so sloppy taking off.

Now why cant this be solved via the valving on all these coilovers or what?

I understand drag cars need to load up so that makes sense but the rear end bounce just sucks because it does this in stock form and when your going through turns that have a slight dip in the road it can get scary at high speed along with the wiggle from the subframe.

Vette doesnt bounce eigther does a Porsche or any other sports car.

I dont want the bounce i want it tight and planted.

Comments guys?

I'm purchasing some Fordgeline wheels on monday and need some input for rim widths. The rear are going to be 10.5" for leaving options of either running 295's or 305's, but going to run 295 for the time being. The front is where I'm debating 10" or 10.5" to try to run 295's all the way around. Or with the 10" rim, I'll have the option to run 275's when I have to. Why the big front debate? I will be going to track days and if I run 295's on 10.5", the front will stay planted in the corners. I also will be doing Open Road Races in Nevada and Big Bend in Texas. What's your opinion for the Front rim width? Should I going 10.5" all the way around or 10" in the front? Oh I will also have the Pedders Xtreme Track package installed, on order right now. Thanks Peeps.

So, we all have experienced the sensation of being famous while driving our camaros.

So, we all have experienced the sensation of being famous while driving our camaros. People taking pictures / video while your driving, coming out to find people driving around your car in the parking lot, coming out to find people stading around looking at your car ... the list really does go on and on ...

What I like and a good thing for Amarican car companys and hopefully GM specifically is the way young kids respond to the car. I know part of it is because of transformers and the current popularity (good marketing for sure).

When I pick my son up from daycare everyday, I drive by a small park that is down the street. Kids between the ages of 6 and 10 (or 12) are playing there (football etc) ... They constantly give me thumbs up and waves EVERY time I drive by. On occasion I fell like ROCKY as a few kids have actually come down to the sidewalk by the street as I am driving by .. running beside the car.

As I am driving anywhere there are sidewalks, kids are constantly waving, pointing, taking cell phone pics etc ...

I think that is great because kids will remember things like that (like I did with late 60's and early 70s firebirds ) .. It sparked interest again in domestic cars which will hopefully pay off when those kids grow up and can buy cars themselves ..

I know all you folks on this Fourm have put their hard earned $$$ up for a new Camaro (I know I did). For the most part, I bought because GM has hit a game winning Home-run with the Camaro IMO. But.... It also got me thinking about how much do I realllllllllly believe in GM and the future of this company? also, their ability to restructure this company into a world leader in the automotive industry once again. I did some quick research and found that you can't hardly find a financial adviser that would suggest investing in GM (MTLQQ). I gave it some thought and decided that if I'm willing to buy their product than I should be willing to invest into their company for the long haul. So I bought 375 shares today @ .64 :) I know its not allot but I figure I could squander that on a weekend mods binge. Soooo hey, if it does run up to 1.28 a share I've doubled my investment. Sorry to say, I really don't think I'll ever see the Camaro give me that kind of return. But it does pay me back in oh so many other different ways. Thanks GM for the Camaro, and I really do believe in what your trying to do by putting my money where my mouth is:)
