Hi ...from western NY ... I had been looking at the 45th since march when I first noticed one at a local dealer... and it was love at first sight .... didn't look or think about any other car or Camaro model ... at that time i had just bought a 2012 Escape as a DD and I had the 2010 Explorer STA (sport trac adrenalin)... and decided the STA was going to go ... why do I need 2 4x4's ... not one chevy dealer would give me a decent trade deal on the STA- they had never seen one ... even my dad would call it a Ranger =((
Being busy with house stuff ... i put the camaro thoughts on the back burner as i hadn't worked on selling the STA ... I had even talked myself out of needing a special car ... I sold the STA for a fair price and now had to just go for it...cause the money was going to burn a hole in my pocket =)) ... it was almost 500 miles away and now in my garage ..=)) There is nothing as simple as driving a hot car to lift ones spirits ... I haven't seen another 45th on the road around here so its a real head turner ... unlike driving the escape .... there must be over 100 in our small town ... ha ha -I had the dealer add over $900 worth of mods to my escape just to make it look a little different than all the rest ... but mods to the Camaro will be much more fun and rewarding ..=))

My name is Tom and I own a 2012 2ss/RS 45th anniversary edition, Hurst short throw shifter and a Borla cat back S-type exhaust. Live up in the Land O Lakes area of Pasco county Fl. The car just turned 1 month old an has less the 2k on the clock.

Wow! Looks like the 45th's are rocking Florida!

I couldn't find one locally, and had to have mine brought accross the Alley from Miami.

I've never seen another one in my area, but I'm told that mine has a twin hiding in the garage of some high rise on the beach.

there does seem to be quite a few 45's in Fla Fast, we have 3 here in our club and at least one more here in Albuquerque and several others around the state

Hi all,, new guy on the block.. got my 45th April 23rd and had it for about a week before it spent the next 6 weeks in the shop.. minor paint issue turned into a nightmare.. after a lot of yelling and repainting the car ended up looking pretty good..
no it is not a midlife crisis.. started that when I was 18 ,, a really long tiine ago..
this is for pure pleasure..

hello everybody, just got a 45th anniversary camaro on 08/24/2012. automatic, sunroof. first automatic i ever owned. have been driving manual all of my life but decided to go with the automatic this time. don't regret it so far. glad to have joined this forum and camaro5 site. love the knowledge and info available.
