Hi Kiwi Camaro - that TIS link is really interesting but im not sure i understand what it is telling me, if in the description area it states things like "New calibration to correct....." does this mean there is an upgrade available and if it just says "Left front window control" then that part is up to date?

That 80000 miles is for the gear oil in supercharger. Really wondering what engine oil is best for supercharged application.
I'll post my dyno sheet from Torque Performance when i get home, can't do it from IPad (technology retard) They said the output was right where it should be with blower etc but is below what Jannetty suggest for identical set up. I'm not sure if I want to chase more HP, seems to be bags of power for street, and I want it to last. Torque Performance are probably quite conservative. ( about 30HP below what Ted at Jannetty is getting)Check out the dyno sheet when I get it up, see what u think.

Hi SLYV8, new calibration normally means a firmware update to improve that area of your car, when you use tis2web to update it registers with GM that you have done the update.

Hi Kiwi2SSRS, not sure officially, but personally i would just stick to the 5w30 synthetic recommended for the engine, blower really shouldn't make much different. manual say's : SAE 5W-30 is best for the
vehicle. These numbers on an
oil container show its viscosity,
or thickness. Do not use
other viscosity oils such
as SAE 20W-50.
