Derby City Camaro Club cordially invites you to the first official DCCC Drag race and Car show!

When: June 29, 2013
Gates open @ 2:00 pm.
Where: Ohio Valley Dragway
Hwy 31 W. Louisville, Kentucky (632 Katherine Station Rd.
West Point KY. 40177- this address will get you to the track but there is no entrance on this road. Instead you will need to go about 100ft past the road where there is a main entrance into the track right off Hwy 31 W.)

Time trials run from 2:00-7:00, Bracket racing starts at 7:00 EST. And time trial runs are not limited.
Price to race is $20.00
Spectator pricing is still being negotiated at this time, but right now we are looking at free for 1 car & driver and $12.00 each additional spectator.

There will be car show and drag racing awards : 4 trophies for 1st-3rd places and best reaction time, and 5 plaques for the car show. DCCC club sponsors will be on site including Apex Motorsports and Unleashed Performance.
There will be a unique bracket just for us! All Generations of Camaros AND Firebirds are welcome!!! Hell, you know we love you no matter what car you bring just come up and join us for a great time of being together!

Ohio Valley Dragway requires all drivers to wear a helmet. All T-tops and convertible tops must be up also.

This sounds awesome. Toby and I have already marked our calendar. I would love to do a road trip in one of our cars.

DCCC Club Sponsors Apex Motorsports and Unleashed Performance will both be on site! We will have a Jack Daniels Barrel Head signed by the Zac Brown Band for raffle! Chris Kolibab's amazing drag Camaro built by Unleashed Performance will be there on the track with us. Bob Hook Chevrolet will be bringing out some of there stock and word has it they will be bringing out the Panther Camaro built by SLP that is the only automatic Panther in existence.
I have confirmed there will be 5 car show awards from Ohio Valley, 3 drag awards provided by Bob Hook, and two sponsor awards (Apex and Unleashed)-one for best reaction time and another for Im not sure yet lol.
Car show is a $5.00 fee, Racing is $20, spectator is $12, and a helmet is required for racing. We will have some loaners available but you must bring something to cover your head/hair with underneath the helmet.
It's gonna be a great time.

Hey folks, hope you all can come on up, looks to be a great time, Track has been great to work with, and it should be a lot of fun! Think we are going to have some folks from Indy coming down, we can make it a regional thing!

Toby and I are planning on going, even if the weather is bad and we have to take the Mustang. It will be nice to meet some of the DCCC people.
