    Yup. I'm not really an audio guy. I've just read some stuff in the Audio section of the forum. They've done some cool stuff.

    The deck unit is shaped as part of the dash and much of the controls for the car are in the unit.

    No. Actually you can't. I know it sucks but even vehicles are going proprietary. lol Unless you redisign the dash area, you have to use the head unit provided by GM for the car.
