Tokk me alil while to find visitors page and when i did felt like a dummy as im still learning to navigate around this forum since im new to it. Back to tires... Thats not bad on what you paid for them as im sure your well aware of what they actually cost brand new. Too rich for me. I was kinda looking for more towards the look for now than anything and since the cups have such a wide footprint i just figued that might be an option but the wear rating is so low for mostly street driving didnt want to take a chance on blowing all that $ and later regret it. But have to admit they are a nice looking tire. Man thanks for your input. I I've been reading on this forum long before I purchased my Z in November of last year and among about 5 people on this forum you being one of them are really good ones that I find very knowledgeable because yall bought the car for what it was designed to do. Thanks again answering back.

I bought 2 325/30-19 production date 2012 for $400 (ebay) new and haven't used them as of yet. I have a decent stockpile of Trofeos in the factory 305 size. I would run 325 rear and 305 front as I believe the 325s are too wide (not confirmed) and may not clear the strut. Michelin 4s are probably a better all around tire compared to a Michelin Cup. Think about the RE11 Bridgestone 325 all the way around as they have been confirmed to clear just fine.

Hey Stephen12ZL1. I've been looking into the Michelin cup tires also for a few months myself. Just didnt know how they would look or fit up. I thought i was the only one interested in the cup N spec. Ebay had 2 New 325 30s like $625 ish but the date was 2014 if i remember correctly. You bought yours new ? Do you mind me asking where and how much? 305s were hard for me to find. Michelin 4s was my 1st choice since probably wont be tracking it anytime in the near future. Appreciate your comments. Thanks

the DTC60s or DTC 70/60 split front/rear works great with awesome brake torque. They are dusty but so what. Toyo Proxes are really good...they are noisy but seem to stick great. I had tire rack heat cycle them ($15 per tire) and they are wearing very well. The stock Goodyears are not bad once they get up to temp. My cheapo wheels are nothing special and weigh about the same as a stock wheel. Lightweight wheels would be me much better but were way too much $ for me. I had the car aligned after I installed a set of Eibach Pro springs and it has helped the car handle much better. Stock is no slouch but my setup is more consistent and more predictable with overall higher grip limits.

Hello Stephen12ZL1, I have a 2013 ZL1 and I run it at multiple road courses and I am looking for a better tire set up for more grip and a more cost effective tire. It looks like you road course your car and I was wondering what set up, tires and rims you are running and how does it handle compared to stock?

ok...will do. I have a dedicated set of cheap wheels with Toyo Proxes R888 285/35-20 all the way around. It is a square setup with an offset of +30mm. Stock offset is +23 front and +37 rear. They were purchased from tire rack. Because of the unidirectional tread, I can rotate front to rear only but that helps. I just bled the brakes using a Motive pressure bleeder with Motul 660 fluid. I should be set for VIR next week.

Keep me posted about the DTC-60's. What tires are you running? Are you running stock rims or do you have a dedicated set?
