What's up Brutal SS, I just got the go ahead on the meet and greet in the Richmond Area. The event will be held at the Bass Pro Shop in Ashland VA on May 12th at 10:00 am.
hahaha, Ya, I got really pissed the other day. Went out and the tire was completely flat. They've never really held air that well but every once in a while if the wheel sits in a certain position it will deflate faster than normal. So I made that sig in utter disgust. lol
The event is called Oldies but Goodies Classic Cruizers. It's at the Keystone Tractor Works Museum. 800 W Roslyn Rd. Colonial Heights. Sorry for the wrong information (not in Hopewell). I'm have to give them a call to see if this event is open for late model cars too. I'll let you know as soon as I find out.
Taking the nose off was not that hard. taking the grill out and putting the new one in without scratching it up was the only issue. I took it in the house and placed a blanket on the sofa. The wife raised all kinds of HELL. lol
Thanks Brutal SS. This was a fund raising event to raise money for Sheltering Arms Hospital. I didn't expect to win anything, there were some nice cars their. I beat out a 2010 Mustang, which was satisfying. lol
There is another event on the 22nd of this month in Hopewell. I don't have all the details yet, I'll hit you back up when I have more info.
They are Savini SV-29s and if you click the link in my sig you'll see that I would NEVER .... EVER..... recomend Savini to anyone. They are beautiful wheels. But I had problems with vibration early on (fixed after sending them back to Savini 3 times) and the paint chips way too easy for my liking.
However, if you decide you like them too much to not take a chance then get ahold of NineBall on here and he can hook you up. Going to cost you around 5500.00 for the wheels only. Then tires and sensors would be another 1500.00 or so. It'll be no less than 7k brand new unless you find a deal. Tony (NineBall) will give you a quote. You can save a little money if you use your existing sensors but only like 250.00 or so.
I'm selling mine for 3k if you want some used ones. Tires, sensors, and wheels. Paint chipping and about 15k miles on them. Still about 65% tread life left. But they are damn good looking wheels. Paint can be fixed and have a damn good set of wheels.
What's up Brutal SS. Sorry it took me so long to get back with you. I was outside today installing my Heritage grille. I just posted pics of the install on my profile page. Check it out and tell me what you think.
