Ah Wyoming my baby took that same route. How fun--yep we really are just about a week off from each other. Even though I do have to say I am pretty sad about the white paint scheme. I took a risk and put in my order for white and when I was told a month later they still didn't know when it would be produced and Smith had the last allocation with my car I pulled the trigger on a silver car. However I think when she arrives silver ice metallic will be my new favorite. I can get over it. Glad to hear your dealer is treating you well. There have been some real horror stories and trust me people got me worried but once I found this site all my concers went away. I was able to get proof my car was being made and going to come to life. You are do right we really know more than our dealers. How fun this is. Glad to know you didn't have a longer delay with the manual issues in your model. I will certainly keep you posted. This site is addicting isn't it

Sent a response to your post about the train to Benecia and was curious where you are? Where did you get your car from? I bought mine from Smith Chevy in Turlock. Nice guys but I am so glad to have found this site the dealer dididnt gve me anything except broadcast date and ship date with the vin this site has kept me in the loop since the car strted her journey home to me
