No it doesn't. When we speak on this site about dealer cars, we are actually talking about cars owned by GM that is being loaned to dealers so they can have something which potential buyers will be able to test drive. In the past, GM used to sell the dealers a car and it would be put on the lot. Unfortunately, the cars would be sold before anyone could have a chance to test drive them. This way, dealers cannot sell the cars and will have no choice but use them as demo cars.
With respect to the V6 cars, you will actually be one of the first cars to arrive at the dealership. This may get a few V8 buyers who have already ordered mad but that is how it is working in Canada. V8, V6, V8, V6 and so on.....
