No I haven't looked into any other cars. I think I might just save something like that for later on in life or something. As for parts I'm still looking at exhausts and cais but when insurance drops for me I think I'll want to upgrade to a v8 but from what I understand adding stuff like that will lower the trade in value of the car and I'll just be losing money in the future. But I'm not even sure if I'll trade in my car or just buy another car for like a weekend car or something and keep my Lt as a DD. I'm so indecisive

I dont think I'm getting it.. my friend told me the guy originally had the price at $1000 and he dropped the price almost every time my friend stopped by to look at it and he said the guys dropped it down to $600 now and still hasn't seen the title yet so something doesn't seem right about that. So I think I'm gonna pass on this one. Not a big deal though. Just glad I took some time to think about it.

Yeah thats what I'm wondering.. I saw a magazine the other day that had an article about buying c3s and if thats an 82 then even in that condition it said its worth $7500 so thats got me wondering what isn't he telling me about that car. Or maybe he just doesn't know what its worth. I've got the money to fix it up but I don't want to end up putting 20k+ into it when I could just buy one in good condition for that. I still haven't had a chance to go down and look at it though. Since you've fixed up cars before is there anything I should look for when I get a chance to go see it?

I've been pretty good. And the last year of the stingray was 82. and I think thats the year of this car. I've been doing a bit of research on it since my friend told me about it Ive got a thread up right now with some pictures of it.. looks pretty bad right now. just warning u incase u decide to go look at it lol. I think I'll be going to see it in person sometime next week but I've been thinking about it and I'm really going to have to have to have a good look at the car and have my friends dad look at it too (he's a mechanic) to make sure it is saveable with a reasonable amount of money. That and I'm tryin to decide if its really a good idea.. It doesn't have the stock engine in it so its kinda missing some of the classic car value with that but for just $800 I might just fix it up and make it what I want.. Its not like I plan on selling it after I fix it up

Hey man.. been a while since we've talked but i've come across what my be an awesome opportunity.. My friend has told me about a guy that is selling a 3rd gen vette for $800 it needs some work but if everything else is all good with the car (he's not to sure if the guy is legit cause he said the car was an 84 which isn't possible for a 3rd gen so he thinks it might be stolen or something) I might be getting a stingray so I'm pretty excited right now. But how you doin man?

Lol. Thats pretty cool. I saw 3 camaros today. Two came out of the same parking lot at the same time and gave me a little rev and a smile as they past me (I was waiting in the turning lane). One of them was a cgm so now I've finally seen one in person lol.

yes the gts covers just install with velcro and lay directly on top of the light. you can pull them off in 10 seconds for all 4. real quick. if you got pulled over just say oh crap i forgot i left those on there and remove them say your sorry and i doubt you would get a ticket
