I hope I did not do any engine damage today.
took it out to a nice clear straightaway no one around for as far as I could see, a rolling start from 1st and hammered it, shifting before 5500 (break in says not to go over 6000) anyway made it to 4th keeping it under 5500 at each shift and when shifting 4th to 5th hit third again!
Wholly molly scared the you know what out of me I bet it pegged to 7500 before I could disengage.
Seems to be ok but wonder if I hurt it?
I thought the computer would not allow that kind of downshift.

I tried to put the decal on the bow-tie I couldn't get it right so I am going up to big worm Monday and have them do it.
I took the whole week off next week

I want to drive it to work but it is supposed to rain

Picking it up in the AM tomorrow then have the rims mounted then take it back so they can wash it.

Today they are going to install the subwoofer and get the car ready.
The GFX are supposed to painted in the next couple of days but they can not install GFX or the GM Performance Mufflers until Saturday so I have to wait till then for that.
And my color matching engine cover is not there yet they called but no ETA so wait for that.
So I guess I will get the car either tonight or tomorrow then I will go to Discount Tire and get the chrome rims mounted the following morning.
So what is your schedule look like for Saturday it you want to swing by the dealer and have a look at the car.
