I got caught I-80 West bound. In the construction zone. I was trying to avoid a bullet bike and a Porsche were racing. I pulled in between two cars, one of which was towing a trailer. I pulled out to pass and I got tagged.
I would have been FINE if it were just to talk about the car. I was pissed because after he told me that he didn't pull the other car/bike over (who were both going at least 90) because he "couldn't catch them" he was an ASS and THEN he wanted to talk about the car. I said to him "If you would have stopped me in a parking lot or under some other circumstance, I'd have shown you the car all day. Thanks to you, every driver West bound I-80 has now had a good look."
I contested the ticket, got a plea and abeyance, and went to traffic school. Other than the $365, it's as if nothing ever happened.

I haven't blacked out the bow-tie yet. Still thinking about it. Maybe a winter project. They have the powder coated ones you can order now. I like that idea.

where did you get your ticket. I had a Layton cop pull me over yesterday just to talk to me about my car. Total bull shit.

Yes I did. It was a sad day in Mudville. The dealership guys had a bet to see how long it would be, so whoever had 2.5 months won. I'm fighting it of course. I was profiled!
