Second choice as the shop I went with does one car at a time. I didn't clear coat over the painted (black) louvers as the clear coating would require that the entire quarter panel needed to be cleared. According to my painter he can't "fade" into the existing clear coat.

Were they your second based on price? And, clear coat the stripes but not the louvers? What's the reasoning behind that? I currently have the fade decals for bothe the louvers and the mial slot, and I've been pretty happy with them, but would consider painting them as well. Any reason why you chose not to have them painted?

I haven't used them but they were recommended by a friend. They originally quoted $1,800 to paint my stripes with clear coat, including painting the louvers (not clear coated) and then lowered the price to $1,500.
