I have an e-mail in to them this morning about my trade in. There was a issue with trade in value that I thought was taken care of but once I went over things it looks like I still could do better. I'll email the owners son he's the one doing the looking up anyway and see if he'll get me the rail Number. I'll send some pictures via your e-mail that have the mustang in it. It also has a detailed sheet with what was done to it.

Wow, I will start at the top and work my way down. Exhaust on V6 auto. Yes it should work and the pipes are already tuned pretty nice. So you should be able to beef it up with strait pipes without any problem. When you go to your muffler shop just have a plan B in mind. Either re-weld your stocks back on or go with a magnaflow or flowmaster etc. Then have him cut right before the stock mufflers. Drop them down out of the way slightly and fire it up. See if it is what you want or not. If it is then unmount the stocks cut the tips off the factory mufflers if you will be reusing them and install straight pipes. Will it sound like a V8? No but it still has a great sound. The stock sixes like I said had a ton of research and development done to perfect the sound. You are keeping all that engineering in place just removing the silencer in the form a jerry cans off the back and letting the real sound out.

Tom I agree it is not worth fighting over 325 but you might mention it as you are picking it up. I have the memo showing how they get their credit if you need it. See if you can get a railcar number. Then I will give you the tracking number to follow it across the country. What is the story on your mustang? My brother is a big mustang nut and might be interested.

Beefman. No stripes no word. I am not sure what you are telling me other than I must have an input error on the spreadsheet? I will check it out.

Things went smoothly. All setup for when she shows up. Dealer was concerned and the first thing out of his mouth was that there was a suprise he didn't expect. I said oh great here we go...turns out it was the extra $325 for the paint for the IOM. Which yeah I could have fought about, but it wasn't going to make me cancel the deal.I told him I knew about it, he didn't! I would have liked a tad bit more on the trade in also, but they gave me a fair deal. It's 4200 so I'm happy about that, looks like it went out today. So maybe not monday the 8th, but still should be next week. I was afraid of QC and them renegging on the MSRP deal. Both of which went down nice. Any way I'll be hitting you up for that exhaust guy's number. I'll be going over to the clear bra guy tomorrow to get a price. I'm betting it's around the price of your guys bra. Difference is though yours is a one piece and I don't think mine would be. Oh well I need to get the mustang ready for the show Friday.

Right on. Dont let them sell you too many add ons...lol I did the same thing and when the car came in I was out of there in 30 Min from the time it dropped from the trailer. Dont let them wash it. There is a ton of aluminum oxide dust from the rail shipping in the paint. Get him home and use a clay bar to clean it up. Have you decided on sealer or wax yet. God the decisions get tougher and tougher. I am leaning toward Carnuba wax since it will not be a daily driver. I think you get a deeper shine. Also as you know from going to shows. When you arrive you have to clean him up. Most of the detailing products have a carnuba wax in them anyway. And they will remove the sealer where applied. So since I will be traveling to shows etc it will be easier to detail without messing up the protectant.

I meet with the dealer tomorrow to go over price and financing. I want to be able to go in with check in hand and walk.opp's drive out a happy man! He said he has invoice and bank only needs a buyers agreement. This part's almost as bad as the wait it's self.I called the gm hotline just for sh**s and giggles and they said it was produced on the 25th and had gone through QC. they said my dealer would be able to tell me if it was stuck in QC, but she did say it was in transit. Dealer told me he has invoice so I'm doing the financial part tomorrow.
