I like yours too Rock 7. How long ago did you retire? I am sitting at almost 25 years and still going. I was enslisted for five before OCS. Love it...even the rotation wasn't too bad.

Hey Mark, so you like our red white and blue Camaro's that hazman did? That is part of your Christmas present, the other part (stocking stuffer) is in the mail today, got it done late last night and in the mail before the dr. appt. this afternoon.

can't believe that one guy said the colors were backwards and the picture was too much.... duhrrr... that's what I wanted, over the top patriotic.

Ah well, I love it and it's on my desktop as wallpaper right now. I'll be sending Greg a message to check it out because I don't know how to send him the picture on here.

I got it at KB toys last year, I don't think they have them anymore, you might want to check ebay.

I think it was in '05 when my unit (61st Eng Det) got sucked up into the 501 STB, which included the Div HQ. For OIF I, I was on FOB Freedom in Mosul, we were the "map dudes", I think we ate some of the same dirt my friend.

I have to say that I love the 101 & AASLT stickers you put on the fenders. Stuff like that makes me miss the 101st. When were you there and what unit were you with?

Sorry, I read this message before reading what you posted in the thread. I am pretty good with photoshop if you would like a rendering of your car with the ABM. You might look around for another paint shop to quote you a lower price. I'm trying to get stripes with no metallic flake...have you seen some that do have it? Can you provide a link to some pics?

Camaro Encounter ~ Driving out of WalMart, heading home when a Red Jewel 2SS/RS pulls in. I do a quick u turn & pull up beside my twin from North Carolina. Inside my twin is a young Soldier & his Mom. It is Thursday which means he just graduated Basic Training - and from C Co. 2nd BN 47th INF.

"OMG", say I, "Charlie Rocks"! The boy looks at me like I'm nuts but starts laughing as I explain that hubby was XO at 2/47 for 2 years; almost 5 years ago. Then I ask Mom if the Camaro is hers, she says YES (woohoo!!! we ladies rock). We all got out, start chatting it up in the parking lot & take some pictures, though all I have is my crappy cell phone which has horrible resolution, but please check out my album anyway. Tina got her baby on Halloween and is still waiting for her custom plates "BADSSRS". Go Tina! We enjoyed our chat until the cold air chased me into my Camaro and home and her into WalMart to find the kids. Small world.
