Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I have not seen any DIY for this only the list of parts. Like you said I'm assuming that the plug size is the same diameter as the inlet hose. I'll be doing this very soon and will be doing a DIY write up if you want to wait for me to be the test dummy, lol.
