What are we to do when it said in the customer satisfaction TBS on our Convertible top will be covered until 2014. After that we will have to pay to have our top fixed. I only bought a convertible because of the advertizing GM did on how much work went into the testing of the top and how long it would last. Then when GM had problems with the first 2011 Camaro tops thay just kept selling the same old designee top and on fix at the factory. They have treated us Camaro owners like we are dirt under there feet and only want our money . They should buy back all the Convertible Camaros .
For a GM Flag Ship Car the Convertible Camaro has turned into a joke . I bought one and am 64 years old and I know crap when I see it.
I haven't been back to the dealer since I talked to GM because they didn't come up with any solution to the problem. It really just seemed as though GM took my complaint which was that the dealer didn't do anything, which may have reflected badly on the dealer. But besides that, they didn't actually come up with a solution to fix the issue.
It is really frustrating because in all my visits, the dealer didn't seem to understand what the problem was, and acted like I was crazy or didn't know how to turn the radio on. After one of my visits, they actually put on the paperwork that in order for the radio to turn on, I just needed to push the on bottom. That obviously isn't the issue, but unfortunately the car only does it the first time it is started when it is cold out.
I have a 2010 V6 2LT and just got cel with code p0449 canister vent solenoid valve. I got 60,000miles on the car and have already replaced the gascap hoping this would be an easy fix. no luck. Will this be covered under enissionwarranty for me to go to a dealer for repair? Thanks all help appreciated.
Chris has been told by his dealership if there's coolant in his cylinder he needs a new engine. I've been told by my local dealership it's carbon build up and I need a gasket replaced.
I have 26,000 miles on my Camaro, over 75% of which are highway miles. I'm extremely curious how I'd have that much carbon build up so quickly with the type of driving I do and how that would lead to coolant in the cylinder.
I'm also curious why one dealership says the engine needs to be replaced while another is replacing a gasket...
Good morning Brandon, I'm wondering if chevy has come up with a resolution for the dreaded grinding gears in the ls3? Also my clutch pedal keeps calapsing to the floor when the car sits for a couple hours. This is the 2nd time its been to the dealer and I don't want to have to keep wasting time to get these issues resolved. Ive seen way to many threads on here regarding these issues. Thanks and have a happy new year.
