Hope you didn't get mad or discouraged from the run on the board. Just wanted to drop in and say that the fact that you are asking the question tells me that you're a responsible person and you'll probably be just fine. Just know that you'll be starting out in a car that is not you're typical vehicle. Be careful and enjoy the car.
That being said, I have not seen it in person so I can't answer you're question, sorry. Alot of people are passionate about street safety and like I said on the board, as a reserve Trooper here in AL, I have seen some things that are hard to deal with including notifying Parents of the loss of a child. One of the hardest things I have ever had to witness. Don't be afraid and remember when you're the most comfortable with your car, that's when you can make the worst mistakes. This includes me and eveyone else who drives a vehicle. Never lose respect for the responsibility.
Other than that, I envy you. First car a Camaro? You lucky dog. Enjoy and be safe.
