Yes, I did have a 3200 stall converter, which was recommended by texas speed. The car ran great, and was very drivable with a tune. Im not sure what the factory converter will stall with that cam, but I suspect a 2200-2400 stall convertor would have worked just fine. I pulled mine because I picked up a ZL1, so I am returning the SS to stock for sale in the next couple of weeks.

Hi, I need you opinion. I just purchased the SS2 VVT cam kit from GPI and they assured me it would be fine very driveable without a converter. I'm concerned to hear you removed yours, did you change your converter? How did you like it in the car? I would really apprciate your answers.Jim
