It catches excess oil blow by residue. I had mine in wrong at first. Got a CEL. It's fixed now, but if you get one don't get the braided lines. They're a bitch, and don't fit right.

I never understood what the hell the catch can was for but I didn't wanna sound like a dummy asking nobody.. So I have done without bro...man just tryin to figure out why my car is so damn bouncy....
