They will probably be triggered by the parking lights

I posted this in another thread: I would prefer that the halos could be turned on separately. If not, I am considering trying to rewire them to act as the daytime running lights, instead of the fog lights, (On RS cars)

That is sweet that the fog lights are going to be the driving lights. I hadn't heard what the driving lights where going to be and i am happy they are going to be the fog lights.

No he is saying that he would like to use them as a driving light instead of the fog lights.

All the pics I've seen have shown the halo's as the DRL's.

Here's a pic. There's also a red one that shows the halos as DRL's

Not really. Seems pretty easy to me to see the halo's with the lights on.

sorry, but i don't think DRLs come on at night. at least on my truck, when it starts to get dark, it turns the DRLs off & the headlights on.

yes. that is until you turn on the fog lights
they don't look as bright in the pic because you're above the plane of the lights. get lower... say road level, & they'll be plenty bright.

sorry, i was looking at the other pic.

Are just the halos HID or are the actual headlights HID as well?

wavrun2000 11-02-2008 10:02 PM

This is what the headlight will look like against a wall. The reason that they always look dim, or like they won't light up the road is because you are looking at them above that cut off line.
