Could you post some video of it starting, idling, reving off idling and maybe even driving by?

I can give it a shot. how about I post the window sticker with the price. The dealer said the car was on the lot 6 days.

A window sticker is nice, but its not exactly going to give us an idea of the sound lol. j/k

If you don't feel like doing a take off or drive by, if you can at least get us a video of the cold start, and then some revs (from 8 - 10 feet back please)

It wouldn't be an accurate representation of the sound under load or warm pipes which is always better, but it would be cool anyways. COLD start usually sounds great.

I was at my local dealer a couple of weeks ago and saw a LFX with the NPP option. I asked to turn it in and hear it they said no problem and got me the keys. I must say that I didn't like it at all. That is just my opinion to each their own though. I had a friend with me and we all agreed (the salesman, my friend, and I) that it sounded like a ricer. I did have my friend take a video but after reviewing it there was to much background noise that his iPhone was not able to really get the sound. That is why I never posted it.

I wouldn't mind hearing someone else's video to hear how to it compares in video to real life. I never did drive it though so if it sounds diffrenent when the motor is actually under load is a diffrenent story. I just turned it on cold and revved it no more than 4K

In my opinion that is a V6. You can tell when it gets into the upper RPM band.

Edit: Never Mind i got the video in. Like i said not a great one and disregard the comment my friend and i made :yikes:

Sounds pretty darn good to me. V-6 will never get that deep sound like a V-8 , whats the cost on that?

Yea like I said to each their own. I personally prefer my MRT V2.

Can you get the Trifecta tune for the LFX? Would love to hear how the ghost cam would sound with that setup.

KMPrenger 11-11-2012 11:55 AM

While it may not be the best sound for a V6, I think the term "fart can" gets thrown around a bit much.

Here, let me refresh you a bit:

Agreed, I think it kind of loses the deep tone at the higher RPMs and the rumble at low RPMs, like most V6's.
