Nice job! I’m looking at a similar stripe pattern but black on white. Brembo cross drilled rotors to reduce heat from HP increase are the way to go. I couldn’t tell in the pictures but if you haven’t yet you should look into them. Looking forward to seeing what else you have planned!

Ironheadspearo 09-28-2010 03:53 PM

I have been pondering doing white stripes myself, it looks pretty sweet, i am considering white powder coating the wheels with white stripes. nice ride and congrats on COTW

I really like your Camaro, she is a real beauty.

Please tell me about the change out of the rear end gearing? What was the cost and what is the difference in performance over the standard gearing? Was the 3.70 the right gearing, and is it hard to keep the car under power?

Are replacement tires bankrupting you? LOL!

Thanks for the Compliment !!

I can't remember the exact cost. PM Andy at ADM Performance to get the price.. The 3.70 gears are perfect for a daily driver.. I beat another Camaro with 25 more horsepower due to the gears.. It is pretty easy to keep the tires on the ground as long as you don't pop the clutch, if you slip it coming off the line, it is just right .. The stock clutch stinks in my Camaro, I can't wait to get the Lingenfelter ZR-1 Twin Disc Clutch in mine..

The swap out was about 45 minutes at ADM Performance. They have the entire pumpkin there and waiting and did a quick swap while I waited.. Those guys at ADM Performance are AWESOME !!

Here are some pictures of my throwout bearing that went out in my car.. I replaced with a stock clutch (taken out of someone elses car after 50 miles or so) until I can replace with a Lingenfelter ZR-1 clutch kit...

For those of you that are/were wondering whether these Camaro's can take a little abuse.. Here is proof.. I have had my car for 14 months and just turned over 50,000 miles and have been running a blower/cam setup with 603 RWHP for 30,000 of those miles (Hard Miles).. I have been to both of the MTI Racing Funfests as well as 1st Annual Camaro5Fest, plus many runs on the 1/4 and 1/8 mile dragstrips locally.. I LOVE THIS CAR !!

Here was my odometer reading last week !!

michael's maro 11-23-2010 04:38 PM

Holy crap that's a lot of miles, I thought my 15,000 was alot..LOL...
Great car and a great performance shop

Thanks for the compliment !!

I will be dropping "Rubye" off this week at ADM Performance for a LPE ZR-1 Twin Disc Clutch and an 8-Rib Pulley system with oversized balancer !! I can't wait. :happyanim:

Here is a picture of the Innovators West F-Body 8-Rib Pulley System !!

You can purchase these from Andy @ ADM Performance !!

Camaro21 01-04-2011 09:27 AM

ADM Performance installed the Clutch and the 8-Rib Pulley System. Andy re-tuned and dyno'd the car again. It was making 615RWHP. The 8-Rib system came with the 3.6 blower pulley and was only making about 8lbs of boost. Andy ordered the 3.4 pulley and I picked it up and installed in right before the Christmas break. I still need to go back to ADM Performance and have Andy Re-tune and dyno the car again to see what the new numbers are...

I will keep everyone posted on what kind of Boost and HP gains the smaller pulley made..

I had my car re-tuned and dyno'd today by Andy at ADM Performance after I installed the 3.4 blower pulley today and it made 625RWHP with 595 RWTQ with max boost was about 9lbs on 93 Octane... :happyanim:

This thing runs AWESOME !! I can't wait to get it back on the track in April at C5Fest !!

SSE 4 2SS 01-07-2011 12:35 PM

Great numbers, especially if the butt dyno is liking it....i too am looking foreward to April...
