Has anyone tried to paint some interior plastic parts?

Just wondering what type of paint did you guys use, or if someone has done it before?

Thanks,

GTD

I remember one post where someone painted their gauge bezel rims orange. I can't for the life of me remember who it was. I would try checking with Gary (orange10s.c. here on camaro5) and see if he has done it. He's done almost everything else with his car.

I think there is a post somewhere about painting the interior parts.

Seeing that interior again makes me smile Gary. You were my first instinct. I may actually call you for some questions later on when I wake up. Going to bed here at 5am on the west coast.

Looks great Gary, did you use Factory Inferno Orange ( the exterior color ) or did you match interior color to the Dash and door panels?

Thanks

After:

It is no big deal...Go for it. You have time before the show

RedRyder 03-27-2010 01:01 AM

so going back to the OP's question...did you guys use some color matched spray paint or what?

SSTony 03-27-2010 10:28 AM

how do you pop the black part off the wheel to get to the ring?

Not sure which black part you are referring to: Look at post #86, then you can ask specific questions and I will address: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...73#post1638873

This is the thread I used to remove the steering wheel: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...steering+wheel

Another excellent DIY thread on removing the steering wheel trim & air bag: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73511
