Manti Te'o....... thoughts?
It's all kinda weird.
Why is the story so big? Hell, it's even taking up time on non-sports shows. :iono: |
It's overshadowing Lance Armstrong, for Gods sake!
It's because it's Notre Dame. It's sort of like the whole Dez Bryant thing at the beginning of the season. If it was any other team than the Cowboys, no one would care if Dez wanted a self-imposed curfew and people making sure he didn't f*** up. |
Who cares I am so sick of this crap
Did it affect anyone else really besides him. Why does the media sensationalize everything nowadays Ryan |
Did someone say...Catfish? LoL
|
Maybe he made it all up to try and make people forget about his bad NC game......

Are you really PQ just checkin ya never know lol.

"Megan Meier thought she had made a new friend in cyberspace when a cute teenage boy named Josh contacted her on MySpace and began exchanging messages with her. Megan, a 13-year-old who suffered from depression and attention deficit disorder, corresponded with Josh for more than a month before he abruptly ended their friendship, telling her he had heard she was cruel.
The next day Megan committed suicide. Her family learned later that Josh never actually existed; he was created by members of a neighborhood family that included a former friend of Megan's." A 13-year-old committed suicide over a fake social media profile and the result? A reality TV show on MTV. |

There has been some seriously funny shit come out of this though.
If he was truly a victim of a joke then I'd come out and speak if I were him. Embarasing to say the least, but he's a young guy, linebacker, stud with an NFL career in front of him so I think he'll be just fine. It happens all the time. Not unlike we here on C5 talk to people (though we actually meet in person a lot) and get to know them in a sense. So when someone goes through a hard time it is not out of the ordinary to get attached. Me and Bonnie fell in love on the phone essentially. Yes, we met for half a day by as a blind date but then we talked on the phone for MONTHS before we got together again and had developed real feelings for one another on the phone. (OMFG, those were some HUGE ass long distance bills. To the tune of 1200.00 and 1500.00 dollars in two back to back months. IN 1992.... lol ) |
