Which CAI should I get? So many to choose from!

I have a Camaro SS 2012 V8 (45th anniv.) which I want to give some more air!

I've been browsing around on eBay and other sites trying to figure out which Cold Air Intake I should choose for my baby.

Which one should I get and what is a reasonable price for it?

I've seen a few here is using some boxed solution with some transparent lid, whilst others are using a K&N open filter with no boxing, just isolation wall with a
rubber seal on top to seal it off when the hood is closed. That one looks best IMO.

Thanks!

I'll second that. CAI!

I see screws on the top plate, I was wondering if that CAI made you move the washer fluid fill cap pipe. Or do you just need to remove the top to add washer fluid?

just remove the lid, no relocation needed unless you add the air scoop then you have to relocate

I'll third the CAI!

It adds a little more HP if you relocate the waterbottle & add the scoop, but it works fine without too. The top opens really easily to fill it if you don't move it. I love my CAI inc............. & even more since I did the waterbottle relocation & scoop.

Give the thread below a look. It has a lot of information on the pros and cons of the different types of intakes available for these cars. If you have any questions afterwards feel free to hit me up.

I have Roto-Fab on my v6.

Don't get the K&N. I just uninstalled mine!
The CAI looks great and seems it will eliminate unnecessary dust from entering your engine compartment.

I love my RotoFab. Great sound, better response and sexy looks

I bought a G5CR, got nothing to complain about. I would have no reason to buy any other brand. Very easy to install, no engine codes, and still looks like it did when I put it on the car 4 years ago.

Roto fab IF i had to choose. Otherwise stock is just fine, or at least a slp elbow just to clean it up a bit.

that g5cr has to be one of the cheesiest, right next to the CAI, i would choose the roto fab for the money, I bought the hennessey mostly for the looks aspect, they are all going to sound good, the hennessey is overpriced at 500 dollars
