i hope you don't play your 360 online cause MS said if anybody other than MS repairs consoles you may get banned from LIVE. also if you had any of your 3 year RROD warranty that was voided a soon as that shop removed the warranty seal sticker:

that and it should still be under warranty. A week from the day u ship it to MS you should get a different one.

well, You can't get banned for fixing hardware problems. You can only get banned for modding and system tampering. I checked this all out. I have the full warranty for free and all, but some of my friends got unlucky and missed their chance. So....in the end, MS wanted to charge them 100$ to send it in and have them wait the 6months to get it back. So...some people like to have their xbox within the same week. basically Dane repairs is savin you time and sometimes money. Sorry for my Paragraph lol.

i said MAY not WILL, I go to the xbox.com forums and a lot of the mods and support team that visit and work those forums say those things. I was just watching out for you my fellow xbox player ;). as long as the repair place did the repair correctly, there should be NO problems, but I have heard of people who went to shady repair places and they were console banned and not only did they pay to have it fixed by those guys they had to buy a new console .

There is nothing detectable by doing a "correct" or "incorrect" repair... they can/will do nothing.
Perhaps if the guy repairing your 360 decided to take it upon himself to flash your DVD Drive with iXtreme firmware. |
I had a guy repair my stepson's 360 about a year ago. He still plays online without any problems. The warranty on his had expired, that's why I decided to pay someone $40 to get it fixed.
