Hey everyone, just wanted to get your opinions on after market exhausts for my 2012 LT v6 camaro. What exhaust would get me closest to a v8 sound? I was thinking a Borla Cat Back but please give me advice. Thank You !!

Check out the sticky in the V6 LLT forum. It has a bunch of videos of different exhaust set ups.

You'll want to have some high quality audio playback devices (ear buds or speakers) and play each video in HQ.

I would recommend either ARK DT-S or N-ll system. They sound awesome.

The only V6 exhaust mod that I've ever heard even coming close to a V8 sound is a resonator delete.

I've looked on YouTube for the same thing. Flowmasters seem to sound the closest to the v8 sound without overdoing it like some exhaust systems can. I like it to sound deep and clean, unlike some of the overdone sounding systems available. I have a 2LT as well and if I had the extra I'd put it into a nice sounding Flowmaster.

I had Flowmasters on my LT and on my SS. Looove the sound! Gives it a nice old school rumble.

best v6 exhaust i've heard is the mrt v2.

closest to the v8.. not really possible.. but best sounding..
