Who is going to CFIII from South East Florida?
 

OK, CFIII is less than 8 months away. There are several South Florida Camaro Clubs, who is driving to CFIII? It would be nice to coordinate with other groups up in the northern states and caravan in together. Lets start a group and pickup SW Florida, Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville along the way.

If you want to, hook up with us in VA. We plan on leaving Wednesday morning, stop in Dayton Ohio, then make the 2 hr run to Indy. Hotel info is in mid-atlantic thread. We have a big group ( VA, MD, PA, NY, OH, & Canadian crew meeting in Dayton). Would have to drive up Tuesday to meet us in Frederickburg VA. PM "Edog" if interested.

Depending on the route you take and when you're passing through, you will likely be able to hook up with someone. We have one group leaving Atlanta on Wednesday and one group leaving on Thursday. Both groups are leaving at "dark-thirty" I think. The Wednesday group is hooking up with CamaroSpike's camarovan and the Thursday group is going solo, maybe through Nashville instead, as it is shorter according to mapping.:w00t:

We are in the planning stages of C5 III. We are three cars [ZL-1] probably leaving Wednesday from Miami / Ft. Lauderdale.:chevy:

I figure it is a 2 day drive for us. I am planning on leaving Tuesday morning (July 31) and arriving Wed. night (Aug. 01). I will be driving our ZL1 also and hope to get 275 - 300 miles per tank. Let me know.

OK, it is less than 30 days away and we need to start making our plans. We will be leaving on Tuesday July 31 and arriving Wednesday night Aug. 01. From Ft. Lauderdale its about 1185 miles (Mapquest). So our first night will most likely end somewhere between Macon and Atlanta, 568 to 645 miles along the way, driving straight up I-75. I know there is bound to be a group going up from Orlando and I hope we can ride up with them. These are only tentative plans, let me know who else has any ideas.

I'll be leaving out of Jacksonville Tuesday morning, but I plan to lay over in Chattanooga Tuesday night. Get the majority of the drive out of the way. Then meet with the camarovan in Nashville Wednesday morning and roll on up with them. I hope to have a couple of cars leaving with me but nothing is solid yet.

Yeah, you are going to have a 600 mile head start on us come Tuesday morning. We will most likely be going up I-75 and get half way into Georgia at best. Take care and drive carefully, see you at the fest. Anybody else from South Florida going to the Fest?
