Here are two pics of the IOM SS/RS from the presentation, with my CGM stripes, i hope to achieve a similar look to the concept vert:drool:

Woa you need to be careful. Brazen Orange and "brazen" are two different colors. Brazen Orange was on the GTO and "Brazen" is on the solstice. In person it's a very orangy-red color. Brazen orange is definatly pure orange.

thanks for the correction.

the camaro IOM is the same as the one on the new solstice

Is the Hummer color Solar Flare Metallic, the same as the IOM?

My wife and I keep going back and forth and need to go see this color on a car/truck tomorrow to really see if we like it. She thinks it might be to red and I have a feeling it nice and Orange the way we like it in person.

I wonder if the IO Interior would be overkill with the IOM exterior?

Thanks for any help.

Hmm I thought the solstice and G8 oranges were pretty close have to look at the pain codes?

The best place to see it is on a solstice. The nice thing is also has CGM stripes so you can make a great comparision.

has anyone noticed the code for IOM on the camaro is GCR, i know the paint code on the solstice ends in U. i thik it is 28u. I definitely need to see this in person on a camaro for some re-assurance. My wife didn't like the color on the solstice(it was a cloudy day and looked more red that day). For those of you who have seen it in person, how is the reaction to it from others that you have noticed. Do most love it (even the folks who don't like orange) or it is more love it/hate it from your experience?

Thanks guys, switching to black is in my mind, but i am trying hard to stick with my original choice of IOM.

That is the great thing about IOM / Brazen, in the morning it looks one color, mid day another, and at sunset a dark deep orange. I am adding another IOM/Brazen to my stable; I have had more complements on this color, more than any other color I have owned. :)

They are not for everybody, and they are painted Brazen now. This is the only car I have ever put splashguards on, being that low to the ground does brings a lot of rocks and dust your way. I am not a big fan, and "No Mudflaps" on the Camaro, I promise. ;)

TJ91 03-08-2009 04:54 PM

lmao i think they should look better now that they are painted, but i agree with the rocks, that would be sad to see the scraapes, but your idea of No mudflaps is a good one for your Camaro!
II went to see the colour today, and its is a very ugly day today, and it still looked like a beautiful orange, i was very impressed with it for being in the clouds, i know my brothers mustang which is Mineral Grey, looks more goldy on cludy days, the IOM looks great.
The one thing is, when i saw it at night, it looked more browny, maybe because i went into the dealership seeing it in bright orange, and by the time i left it was dark, so it looked very brown, do you find that it looks browney at night, or does it still look great?
P.S for CGM, it looked more like a paley blue grey when cloudy, i hope my stripes wont look bad on cloudy days

Wrong title on the YouTube video at this link but this is the first IOM video i've seen, the color seems to be more accurately displayed in the video. Looks pretty orange on my monitor.
