Brake squeel at 9k miles?

What gives?

Hear some sqeeling from my brakes when I push down but car only has 9k miles on it.

Can that be possible? Only happens sometimes and squeal is slight but still present? Does it just need some extra lube somewhere?

I have recently painted my calipers but didn't hear anything for last three or four weeks since paint until today.

Tell me I don't need new brakes already. That's absurd.

It's a common and a known issue with the Brembos. There are numerous topics here about it, such as this one: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...t=brake+squeal

Did you lube the pad backs after painting?

mine have 32k miles and still don't squeak

Thanks guys! That works. Pretty much nothing to worry about but I'll try some hard braking!

Sorry to hear that you experienced this, but please keep us posted on this concern. We're here if you notice anything further that might require an official diagnosis.
