Trans-Am Camaro's!

Hey everyone my name is Cameron. I race Trans-Am in the TA2 class in a Howe Camaro! These are purpose built tube framed Camaro's with an LS3. You gotta come check these cars out they're awesome! The series has 2 more double race weekends. Next weekend we're at Brainerd and then Road Atlanta November 3 and 4. Make sure to stop by and see me in the #11 Miller Racing red Camaro!

Do all the cars have the same tube framed chassis, regardless of car manufacturer? What kind of mods are done to the LS3? What kind of transmission do you run?

I didn't know the Trans-Am was still an active series. The cars look great. Are these races viewable on the internet?

The first half of the season was covered by GoRacingTV.com but it didn't work out and they were dropped. You can try checking out their website though and see if they're still up. Or I have some in car if you check out my youtube page! http://www.youtube.com/user/camracer23
Also all Trans-Am info is a gotransam.com !

Dude awesome videos! Now tell us how to get tickets for road atlanta!

Cam8 08-28-2012 07:54 PM

Thanks! If anyone stops by looking for me I'm the kid of the group. Just turned 20 this month. For Road Atlanta you should just be able to buy them at the gate since its on a regular SCCA weekend! But I'll look into it as it gets closer. The Paddock is always open to fans to come and walk through!

I see Howe has switched from ovals to road courses. I used a ton of their products and even 1 chassis

Cam8 08-28-2012 08:39 PM

They still do oval stuff too but they're branching out. It is basically one of their oval chassis converted for road racing. Just changes some bars and geometry to even out the weights and stuff. Very well built cars though and a blast to drive!

Looks like you had quite a handling advantage over the other cars at Road America. Great videos, thanks! :w00t:
