Catch Cans

This is the best place for Camaro education can someone school me on Catch Cans, I have heard there good overall for the engine

Some say they do absolutely nothing, it worthless

Is this another Premium vs Regular gas in the v6 type deal?

I think mainly because of cost. Eventually will see them on DD not just performance engines.

How much is a catch can a little under $200? I don't see why they can't add that to the price of the car. We're paying over 20k for our cars what's another $200 :iono:

$200 added to the manufacturing cost of a car. Every penny is scrutinized in the manufacturing process. When you make millions of cars every penny adds up quickly.

Because its another maintenance item the owner would be responsible for. Imagine how many people would simply forget to empty their catch can.

not true at all :facepalm: its a seperator and is installed for the oposite side of the catch can aka the clean side. catch can is for dirty side... goodjob for false info

ill be the first to post it,,,,waste of time and money.Also have to think in some states this would be considered tampering with the emission system I know in Washington it would.
