Rear O2 eliminator
Anyone ever hear of a part you can get from somewhere such as Jegs called an O2 eliminator? I've got headers on my car and am up for an inspection sticker, and of course I have a CEL on, so I need to take care of this before getting inspected. I'm trying to avoid the tune until I get a cam later down the road. Thanks!

The guys making them (Casper) got sued a few years back by the EPA so its unlikely to find anything from a US source. If you do find some let me know as I'm in the same boat. Cam doesn't happen till next fall so I'd like to hold off.

they are o2 simulators. they just hold a constant ohm level to trick computer. they are hard to find because of above

Thanks for the info! Looks like a tune may be in my future.

Find someone local with HPtuners/EFI, pay them a $100 to turn off the sensors and be done with it.

There's also the rear O2 extenders. Many have said that this will cure your CEL which is set of by the rear O2 being in the direct path of the LT. The extension puts your rear O2 sensor about an inch back out of the path and into more "normal" operating circumstances. They can be found on ebay for cheap. Good luck.

Yea I've got those as well as some O2 spacers to back them out of the stream and the CEL has been intermittent. I'll look for the eliminators/simulators on eBay.
