New guy w/headlight problem

Hi,
I just bought a 96 conv.. There is no "click" or hi beam indicator light on dash that would indicate the high beams are on. The hi beams do not work. Also, in the fuse box under the hood, there are no fuses or any connections for them where the legend indicates they should be.
Sooooooo, I don't know if I have a fuse problem, or a bad selector.
Please advise----------------

Thanks

sounds like a bad switch, the switch itself should have a loud click whe you pull it back to turn on the high beams, if it feels spongy and does not click the switch is definately bad...

I definately agree, and if the switch does not match that description, I would say the next logical place to look would be the fuse box...

You might want to get the fuse box sorted out anyways...IMHO...

if you dont have any fuses in there, then your high beams wont work.

get some fuses in there and try it out.
