Well... We Hit the Dyno!!

Lots of hard work came into fruition today, although it wasn't the number we were looking for, it puts us much closer to runnin down an 8 second pass (I'll elaborate soon).

Here's the numbers: 606rwhp @ 5500 and 715rwtq @ 2700

Lotta belt slip on the big end, but nothing that would have made a huge difference.

Now, for the next setup: it'll be a low 9 second car at the slowest, I guarantee it :D

Nope, not yet. We were seriously running out of blower, and the bottle isn't in the car either. The plan is to go to a much larger supercharger and shoot for well over 1000. I'll probably finish the summer on this blower, as I already had the car down for almost 8 months.

Same thing I'm going to have to do, only i went 4l80e and am going to switch to a ysi. And same times and numbers I'm going for.....I like your style lol

How much boost?

Seems like you need to change pulleys to slow it down and try to spin it at least 1,000 rpm higher

715RWTQ @ 2,700 DAYUM!

13psi on a 2.95 pulley, around 11psi at the end of the pull.

What is your compression ratio? I figured you would hit 700rwhp with a 416. Torque is awesome!!

Supercharged SS 06-05-2013 07:16 PM

606 rwhp and you're close to the 8's?? Send me some of the crack you're smoking!

Are these numbers at sea level or on the moon?

At least someone coped with reality that his blower is too small..

Torque should be fun. Ever consider the ECS Roots Style tensioner for that belt slip, works awesome on the fifth gens and have been on the roots style's for 10+ years ..
