Fastlane Stage 1 Camaro Package (intake, header, exhaust) breaks 400rwhp

Fastlane Incorporated has just posted the video below of its Camaro breaking the 400rwhp barrier. The modifications include:

Fastlane's Pipeline True Cold Air Intake
Custom header's
Full 3" exhaust.

With these mods alone, Fastlane was able to gain 45 RWHP and +40 RWTQ

Camarofan123 05-11-2009 05:34 PM

OMG that's where my dad gets his mustang tuned. I'll talk to him about getting that package after he gets a camaro. :)

I bet that package is over 3,000 though.

PYROLYSIS 05-11-2009 05:37 PM

Those stripes look red instead of orange. If they are, I'm in love!

Camarofan123 05-11-2009 05:38 PM

That camaro sounds SWEET!!!! I'm in love. I wanna go over to Fastlane one day and see some of those awesome camaros.

they are orange... they look different in different lighting

this car is in the BLACK camaro photo thread

Camarofan123 05-11-2009 05:54 PM

400rwhp is sweet for an auto '10 Camaro SS with just a CAI/Tune/Full Exhaust, imagine the numbers for a manual, probably 410-415rwhp.

tribone 05-11-2009 06:01 PM

I need to change my pants again!:headbang:

2010SSRSM6 05-11-2009 06:03 PM

That car is a stick. Not an auto.

Camarofan123 05-11-2009 07:21 PM

Oh, my bad, I thought it was an auto for some reason.

mwilkes 05-11-2009 07:28 PM

Hi, I made that video of the Fastlane Camaro... a couple of things to note...

1: I messed up the base Dyno and the initial numbers were not as low as the ones i posted. The car actually made 355 RWHP from the factory.

2: It did make hit the 400+ RWHP on the dyno, but the gains are not actually "+72 RWHP and +66 RWTQ" more like +45 RWHP and +40 RWTQ

Sorry for messing that up...

mwilkes 05-11-2009 07:30 PM

To answer other questions...
stripes are orange...
it's 2ss/rs
it's a six speed

jakemaxx 05-11-2009 07:31 PM

very nice how much??

Camarofan123 05-11-2009 07:34 PM

I have no idea but I bet over 3,000.

Probably 1400 for the longtubes/mid-pipe, around 1200 for catback mufflers/over axle pipes, and 600ish for intake tune. This doesn't include labor/tuning costs.

Hi mwilkes, my dad has tuned his mustang gt/cs at your shop before.

TAG UR IT 05-11-2009 07:38 PM

yep...now 45 sounded abput right.

vert cool !

That's still a pretty good gain. Thanks for the info.

Camarofan123 05-11-2009 07:42 PM

Yeah that is a pretty good gain, I bet that car will run 12.5-12.6 after adding a set of gears and DR's.

dankss 05-11-2009 07:58 PM

that car must of not had very many miles on it...

i mean 328rwhp baseline?? dyno that again after the first oil change.. i put money that it makes more hp

Camarofan123 05-11-2009 07:59 PM

You must have missed that the baseline was actually 355rwhp. The 328rwhp number was a accidental number put in the video.

New Dyno Pull from Fastlane

Hope this isnt a repost guys..

mwilkes 05-11-2009 08:18 PM

i don't know what the price is since i only do the videos are but stainless long tubes and 3" exhaust are not cheap and they are custom, because nobody makes a set of them yet. Kooks claims too, but we found out the hard way they don't fit...

Camarofan123 << Sweet! hope he still loves it!

So that is an automatic? Just wanted to make sure as the initial dyno rwhp is very low .. if it is an auto that would explain .. I saw a post with something about 355rwhp .. so that wouldn't be a 72rwhp gain then right?

Crowley

mwilkes 05-11-2009 08:21 PM

If anyone cares, i shot a Desktop wallpaper of this Camaro and you can download it here:

no, it's a six speed and i messed up the baseline dyno... see above... actual gains were about 45 rwhp

Yeah he does, we got 3:73's, Delete Plates, and Pullies installed back in May 2007, but we've had another dynotune since then. It's just over 300rwhp so we are happy. :headbang:

So those Stainless Steel LT's are custom fabricated by Fastlane?

blackedout010 05-11-2009 08:29 PM

intake looked nice!!! would love to see pics and pricing info on it.

KILLER74Z28 05-11-2009 09:02 PM

WOW, + 46 RWHP actual gain from fresh air intake and full exhaust looks really great. Wonder what the torque was?

Merged

Wesman 05-11-2009 09:09 PM

Nice vid and nice gains!! LS3 has a lot of potential.

Jchaluja 05-11-2009 09:18 PM

question:

Was it tuned? It did not say!

Dude what is that in the background of that picture?

I may be the only one, but I guess I had hoped for a little more power from this combination of mods...The CAI should make a little better power than the GM performance style, the headers are full length LT's, and what little power the exhaust makes, but then you tune it for max power...just figure it would put down a little more...oh well.

yes, it's been re calibrated, but I don't believe it's a 93 octane tune...

in the sky? it's the fastlane t-shirt skull... little bit of photoshop added that into the sky.

Well, we are still working on the tune. We only played with it for a little while to hit the 400 mark. we will be adjusting it more in the days to come.

CamaroSpike23 05-11-2009 09:47 PM

very nice

Cool. The only reason I say that is because the LS3 vettes do put down quite a bit more with the same mods...I would expect them to put down a "little" more I guess, but not "that" much of a discrepancy. Those parts look like very nice pieces for sure, so I would expect the gains to be pretty solid...top shelf stuff looks like.

Cool pic too:thumbup:
